Davidson’s Principles and Practice of Medicine (19th edition) إشكالیة ترجمة النصوص العلمیة من الإنجلیزیة إلى العربیة دراسة تحلیلیة لترجمة الفصل السابع عشر من كتاب

Abstract

يتمحور هذا العمل حول دراسة تحليلية لنص طبي مترجم من الانجليزية إلى العربية بعنوان: أمراض جهاز الهضم والبنكرياس – ديفيدسون- (Alimentary Tract and Pancreatic Disease)وهو الفصل السابع عشر (17) من كتاب (Davidson’s Principles and Practice of Medicine – 19th edition-). تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى وصف عملية ترجمة هذا النص للكشف عن الصعوبات والطرق المناسبة للتغلب عليها، وذلك بالاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في سياق رسم سمات النصية في الترجمة العلمية على ضوء النص الطبي. حيث تم التوصل إلى مجموعة من النقاط: على رأسها، ضرورة توفر عامل التخصص في الترجمة وبإشراف فريق متخصص؛ كما ينبغي توظيف بعض الظواهر مثل التكرار والترادف والجمل الاسمية ونفس علامات الترقيم؛ بالإضافة إلى الاعتماد على أساليب الترجمة المباشرة خاصة الاقتراض؛ وفي الأخير يبيِّن التقييم النصي للترجمة الأثر السلبي لـكل من: التقيد بالترجمة الحرفية على مستوى التماسك والترابط، ونقص عدد الكتب الطبية المترجمة على مستوى التكافؤ النصي. وبالتالي لا يؤدي النص الطبي بالعربية الوظيفة التواصلية بنفس الدرجة التي يؤديها بلغته التي ولد فيها. This research paper is centered on an analytical study of a medical text translated from English into Arabic entitled (Alimentary tract and pancreatic disease) represented in chapter seventeen (17) of the book (Davidson’s Principles and Practice of Medicine -19th edition-). This study aims at describing the translation process of this text, by revealing the difficulties and appropriate ways to overcome them, depending on the descriptive analytical method in the context of drawing the textuality features of scientific translation in light of the medical text. A set of points has been reached: the need for specialization factor; the translation should be supervised by a specialized team; certain aspects should be employed such as: repetition, synonymy, nominal sentences, the same punctuation marks used, adopting direct translation methods especially borrowing; the negative impact of: the adherence to the literal translation on both coherence and cohesion levels, then the lack of medical books in Arabic on textual equivalence. Accordingly, the medical text in Arabic does not perform the communicative function to the same degree that the text performs in the source language.
