دراسة مقارنة في المجال الاقتصادي للاحتلال الروماني لمصر وإفريقيا خلال العهد الإمبراطوري الأول من سنة 27 ق.م إلى سنة 68م

Abstract

يعالج بحثنا السياسة الاقتصادية الرومانية في كل من المقاطعتان المصرية والإفريقية خلال العهد الإمبراطوري الأول من سنة 27 ق م إلى سنة 68م، وتعتبر من أكثر الفترات التاريخية حساسية في تاريخ الإمبراطورية الرومانية لكونها فترة انتقالية صعبة من النظام الجمهوري إلى النظام الإمبراطوري، هذا الانتقال الذي تميز بعدة انتكاسات سياسية واقتصادية بما خلفته الحروب الأهلية أواخر العهد الجمهوري، تلك الحروب التي دفعت الاقتصاد الروماني إلى حافة الهاوية، ما دفعها بالبحث عن بديل في البلاد البعيدة. الأمر الذي دفع بهم لاحتلال هذه المناطق الغنية في مصر وافريقيا، ومحاولة استغلال ثرواتهم لأقصى الحدود، كما تناولنا في هذا البحث التاريخ الاقتصادي لكلتا المقاطعتان في الفترة السالفة للتواجد الروماني فيها بهدف إعطاء نظرة شاملة على التطور الذي حققته هذه شعوب قبل الغزو الروماني الذي بنى سياسته الاقتصادية نسبة إلى الثروات المتوفرة في كل منطقة.Our research study deals with Roman economic policy in the two provinces of Egypt and Africa during the first imperial era (27 BC-68 AD). This period is considered the most sensitive of the Roman Empire since it was a pivotal and delicate period in the transition from the imperial system to that of the Republic. This passage was distinguished by innumerable political and economic failures and by the consequences of the wars that marked the end of the imperial era, which in particular led the Roman economy to the edge of the precipice; this pushed Rome to look for alternatives in distant lands. The enormous economic attributes available to Egypt and Africa provided an attractive alternative for Roman rulers to replace a collapsed Italian economy. We have also treated in this research the economic history in the two regions during the pre-Roman period, in order to give a global vision of the development achieved by these peoples before the Roman invasion.
