مملكة الداهومي وموقفها من الاستعمار الفرنسي ) 1858 - 1900 م(

Abstract

تعتبر الداهومي إحدى ممالك خليج غينيا التي ارتبطت بتجارة العبيد ثم تجارة زيت النخيل، وتعرضت للسقوط على يد الاستعمار الفرنسي، مع نهاية القرن التاسع عشر. وقد ميز الفترة قيد الدراسة (1858- 1900) تتابع ثلاث ملوك لكل منهم سياسة مختلفة عن الآخر، كان أولهم الملك جلي جلي الذي كان متساهلًا مع الفرنسيين، فوقع معهم معاهدة صداقة سنة 1868. لكن منذ أن تولى الملك بيهانزن الحكم بعد وفاة والده سنة 1899، انتهج سياسة عدائية تجاههم، فقرروا محاربته. وأسندت قيادة الحملة للجنرال دودز،وبعد معارك طويلة بين الطرفين، انهي الامر بنفي بيهانزن إلى المارتنيك. وتم تنصيب شقيقه الملقب بأغولي أغبو ملكاً، فأعلن على الفور قبول الحماية الفرنسية على أراضيه ( 1894-1900) وكان آخر ملوك الداهومي. Dahomey is considered one of the kingdoms of the Gulf of Guinea that was associated with the slave trade and then the palm oil trade, and was subjected to the fall at the hands of French colonialism, at the end of the nineteenth century. The leadership of the campaign was entrusted to General Dodds, and after long battles between the two parties, it ended with the banishment of Behanzen to Martinique. And his brother, nicknamed Agoli Agbo, was installed as king, and he immediately announced the acceptance of the French protectorate over his lands (1894-1900), and he was the last king of Dahomey
