تحليل العناصر النصية وغير النصية في عملية الترجمة: دراسة تحليلية لترجمتين لرواية ف. فيتزجيرالد "غاتسبي العظيم" في ضوء مقاربة كريستيان نورد

Abstract

تسعى هذه الأطروحة إلى دراسة نقدية تطبيقية لمدى فعالية المقاربة الوظيفية لكريستيان نورد في حقل الترجمة الأدبية، من خلال تحليل مقارن لترجمتين عربيتين لرواية The Great Gatsby لفرانسيس سكوت فيتزجيرالد. تنطلق الدراسة من إشكالية مركزية تتمثل في مدى قدرة هذا النموذج، المصمم أساسًا للترجمة غير الأدبية، على التعامل مع نص روائي رمزي ذي كثافة أسلوبية وجمالية عالية. تعتمد المنهجية على مبدأي "الولاء" و"الدورة التكرارية"، مع إجراء تحليل مزدوج للعناصر غير النصية (كهوية المؤلف، والغرض، والجمهور، والسياق) والعناصر النصية (كالبنية السردية، واللغة، والرموز، والإيقاع، والتماسك الدلالي). ومن خلال المقارنة بين الترجمات، تكشف الدراسة عن خيارات المترجمين واستراتيجياتهم في تحقيق التوازن بين أمانة النص الأصلي ومتطلبات الثقافة المستهدفة، لتخلص إلى أنّ مقاربة نورد تمثل إطارًا وظيفيًا مرنًا يتيح ترجمة أدبية تحافظ في آن واحد على البعد الجمالي والوظيفة التواصلية للنص The study offers a critical and applied examination of the effectiveness of Christiane Nord’s functionalist approach in the field of literary translation through a comparative analysis of two Arabic translations of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. The study addresses the central question of whether a model originally developed for non-literary translation can adequately account for a narrative text characterized by symbolic density and pronounced stylistic and aesthetic complexity. The methodology draws on Nord’s dual principles of Loyalty and the Looping Model, applying a two-tier analysis of extratextual factors (authorial identity, purpose, audience, and socio-cultural context) and intratextual features (narrative structure, linguistic choices, symbolism, rhythm, and semantic cohesion). The comparative findings shed light on the translators’ strategies and decision-making processes as they navigate the balance between fidelity to the source text and the cultural expectations of the target readership. Ultimately, the study demonstrates that Nord’s approach offers a flexible functional framework capable of supporting literary translation while preserving both the aesthetic dimension and the communicative function of the original work.
