La Esencia De La Traducción Intersemiótica En La Novela Tu Rostro Mañana De Javier Marías

Abstract

En el siguiente artículo tratamos de la traducción de la novela Tu rostro mañana de Javier Marías según las aproximaciones de Román Jakobson quien la divide en tres tipos: la traducción intralingüística, interlingüística e intersemiótica. En la novela de Marías, se concibe la traducción como un proceso interpretativo de doble codificación icónico lingüístico. Así, la incorporación del lenguaje visual en la narrativa de Javier Marías empieza desde la publicación del ciclo de Oxford. La traducción como proceso transcripto se materializa en la concepción de Román Jakobson, quien estructura la traducción en tres tipos: la intralingüística, la interlingüística y la intersemiótica aplicándola en la novela de Javier Marías. En cuanto a la traducción, analizaremos con detalle las tres traducciones debido a la presencia excesiva de las mismas en la traducción de la novela. El autor, con su larguísima experiencia en la traducción, pudo estructurar un estilo refinado, una perfección en la escritura y una traducción abundante en los tomos de la novela, que a su vez enriquecida en diversas temáticas marcadas por la presencia de la traducción.

In the following article we discuss of the translation of the novel Your face tomorrow by Javier Marías according to the approaches of Román Jakobson, who divides it into three types: intralinguistic, interlinguistic and intersemiotic translation. In Marías's novel, translation is conceived as an interpretative process of double iconic-linguistic coding. Thus, the incorporation of visual language in the narrative of Javier Marías begins with the author from the moment of his writing. Marías begins from the publication of the Oxford cycle. The translation as a transcribed process is materialised in the conception of Román Jakobson, who structures translation in three types: intralinguistic, interlinguistic and intersemiotic, applying it to the novel by Javier Marías. In terms of translation, we shall analyse the three translations in detail because of their excessive presence in the translation of the novel.
