Réflexions à propos de l’intraduisibilité Thoughts about untranslatability

Abstract

Je propose dans cet article de réfléchir à propos de l’intraduisibilité et des sens qu’elle renferme, sur le plan linguistique et sur le plan traductologique, en français et en arabe également. Le point primordial dans cet article est de réfléchir à propos du coté positif de cette intraduisibilité souvent considérée comme un problème et un frein à la créativité pour le traducteur. In this paper, I propose to think on untranslatability and the meanings it contains, both linguistically and translatologically, in french and arabic. The main point of this paper is to reflect on the positive side of this untranslatability, which is often considered as a problem and an obstacle to creativity for the translator.
