الحمامات الرومانية الخاصة في الشرق الجزائري

Abstract

يعالج هذا البحث موضوع الحمّامات الرّومانية الخاصّة في الشّرق الجزائري، سواء تلك المبنية داخل منازل المدن، إمّا بناء أصيلا أو مضافا في فترات لاحقة، أو تلك الملحقة بالمنازل الرّيفية، بين هذا وذاك تختلف مساحة كل منها، كما تتعدّد فيها القاعات والأحواض، وعلى عكس ما كان يعتقد أنّ الحمّامات الخاصّة لا يستعملها إلا أصحابها، فقد ثبُت خلاف ذلك، إذ نجدها على ثلاثة أنواع: حمّامات خاصّة بأتمّ معنى الكلمة لا يرتادها إلا مالكوها، وحمّامات خاصّة داخل المنازل تفتح للأقارب والزّوار، وحمّامات خاصّة ذات طابع عمومي ملحقة بالمنازل الرّيفية أو الورشات، أو المنازل الجماعية المعدّة للإيواء، وتقنيا خلص البحث أنّه للحكم على طبيعة المباني الحموية، لابدّ من توفّر مجموعة من الدّلائل، في مقدّمتها نظام التّسخين مكتمل العناصر، ونظام تزويدها بالمياه وتصريفها منها، بالإضافة إلى دلالات أخرى مرتبطة بالدّيكور، تعبّر عنها المشاهد الفسيفسائية مختلفة المواضيع، الّتي بلّطت بها أرضيات قاعاتها وأحواضها. Abstract: This research paper examines the subject of private Roman baths in the east of Algeria, two types: Built within city houses, either original or later added, and attached to rural houses "villaerusticae", the size of each is different, and the halls and basins are numerous. Contrary to the belief that only private bathrooms were used by their owners, they proved to be in three types: Private in-houses or workshops, or group houses intended for accommodation. Technically, the research concluded that, in order to judge the nature of the protective buildings, there must be a series of evidence, primarily a fully fledged heating system "hypocaustum", a water supply and drainage system, as well as other decoration-related connotations, which are expressed in mosaic scenes with which their floors are attached.
