The Algerian revolution had a major impact on the transition of conflict among the constituent groups of Algerian inhabitants on the one hand. and exacerbated a French political crisis, Various French political formations were unleashed to intensify their activity during the period of Algeria's liberation revolution by their political officials at the metropole level or by representatives of those parties locally in Algeria. The priorities of their programmes included various colonial problems resulting from French colonialism, which were exacerbated by the explosion of the liberation revolution, This allowed the French right to penetrate into Algeria's European groups, promising to embrace their concerns. Throughout the years of the Algerian Revolution, controversy between the French right and left has emerged over a fundamental idea of either advocating war or upholding the Algerian people's right to self-determination, and 1958 was a detailed milestone in French political life, especially at the level of the right-wing movement that saw the birth of new right-wing parties, which were soon divided by their disagreement over de Gaulle's Algerian policy.
