Item A Multimodal Discourse Analysis Of Impoliteness In Algerian Hirak Posters(des archives - Actualités des archives - Faculté des sciences humaines, Université Al-Jair, 2 Abou Al-Qasim Saad Allah, 2023-12-21) Abdelhai Nour El HoudaAbstract The present study aims at providing a state of the art picture of a multimodal perspective on impoliteness strategies in selected Algerian Hirak posters. To this end, the study adopted a combination of Kress and Van Leeuwen’s (2006) Visual Grammar and Culpeper’s (2011) Impoliteness model. Further, a number of three protest posters were analyzed qualitatively. The results demonstrated the prominence of representational, interactive and compositional metafunctions in constructing meaning of the discourse of protest, reprimand and criticism. In addition, the findings exhibited the manifestation of a set of multimodal modes indexing possible impoliteness strategies in Algerian Hirak posters. The posters under analysis revealed the presence of participants picturing figures of Hirak supporters to increase the feeling of nationalism and patriotism in the audience.Importantly, the present study pointed to the persuasive nature of multimodal resources that targeted mobilizing and urging the persistence of anti-corruption Hirak movement.Item The Legend Of Zelda And Self-efficacy: A Link To Self-directed Learning(des archives - Actualités des archives - Faculté des sciences humaines, Université Al-Jair, 2 Abou Al-Qasim Saad Allah, 2023-12-21) Belazouz Asmabstract Video games are thought to meet self-directed learning expectations, improve specific skills and capabilities, and inform about self-efficacy. The Legend of Zelda game franchise is amongst the most popular and massively played games since 1986. It mostly comprises exploration-based games containing action-adventure, strategy, and puzzle elements. This paper investigates how The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017), a massive open-world Zelda, is designed to include self-directed learning skills, such as self-efficacy, that increase students’ sense of autonomy and unlock their learning potentials.Item Myth And Truth In Cormac Mccarthy’s Southern Narratives: Reframing The Portrayal Of Landscape, Society And Humanity(des archives - Actualités des archives - Faculté des sciences humaines, Université Al-Jair, 2 Abou Al-Qasim Saad Allah, 2023-12-21) Houamdi DjamilaCormac McCarthy’s novels share a common concern with humanity. They almost hinge entirely on its dark side thriving upon extremes, (common) abnormalities and cloaked reality. They also probe into ethical dilemmas and national myths while deploying a style that—in all its richness—does not waver away from poignancy and solemnness. Particularly, his Southern works explore of cultural myths in an attempt to revise prevailing visions. By exposing the horrors of the past and how they survive into the present, The Orchard Keeper (1965), Child of God (1973) and Suttree (1979) unveil the failure of white American civilization with its nurturing of violent, egoistic, and supremacist myths. The narratives focus on social outcast who abandon society and seem to find no refuge in a decaying nature. Hence, the analyses show that their moral struggles, which result from foundational southern myths, represent a deeper reality within southern culture and carry universal significance.Item American Intellectuals In The Sixties The Struggle Between Power And Resistance(des archives - Actualités des archives - Faculté des sciences humaines, Université Al-Jair, 2 Abou Al-Qasim Saad Allah, 2023-12-21) Djaballah SelmaThe 1960s was a period that introduced magnificent changes to the United States, in both society and culture. Different alienated grouped wished to be acknowledged for their uniqueness. During this social turmoil, they rose in resistance against all forms of power which included a fierce hatred and mistrust towards intellectuals. These creators of ideas were deeply embedded in their technocratic services in government and were absent from the fighting scenes of civil rights movements and anti-war protests. This paper attempts to determine the precise position of the American intellectual during the 1960s. The social turmoil of this period is best explained in terms of Foucauldian concept of power relations. The interplay of power between the institutionalized intellectual and the resistance of the youth and common men embodied a new “discursive power” that characterized the stormy sixties.Item Distinguishing Between False And True Intellectuals: An Examination Of American Intellectuals During World War(des archives - Actualités des archives - Faculté des sciences humaines, Université Al-Jair, 2 Abou Al-Qasim Saad Allah, 2023-12-21) Tegaoua KenzaThis paper examines the perspectives of American intellectuals during World War One, specifically their attitudes towards U.S. involvement in the European conflict. The primary objective is to evaluate their reliability and trustworthiness. To accomplish this, the study adopts Jean Paul Sartre's theory of True and False Intellectuals, as outlined in his work Plaidoyer pour les Intellectuels. The theory is applied to analyze the positions and responses of certain American intellectuals in relation to the war. The research ultimately aims to enable readers to differentiate between True and False Intellectuals, particularly in times of war.Item التنشئة الاجتماعية في ظل تطور تكنولوجيا الاعلام والاتصال(المجلة المغاربية للمخطوطات-مخبر المخطوطات-كلية العلوم الانسانية جامعة الجائر2 أبو القاسم سعد الله, 2024-06-03) قندولي نريمانالملخص: سنعالج في هذا المقال مدى تأثر إحدى العمليات الاجتماعية والثقافية بانتشار وتزايد استعمال تكنولوجيا الاعلام والاتصال ألا وهي عملية التنشئة الاجتماعية. ولبلوغ هذا الهدف قمنا أولا بعرض المفاهيم الأساسية الخاصة بكل من التنشئة الاجتماعية وبتكنولوجيا الاعلام والاتصال، ثانيا قمنا بالدراسة التحليلية للظاهرة المدروسة. لنتأكد في الأخير من حتمية التغيرات المطبقة على العملية في ظل هذه التكنولوجيات سواءا في الدول المتطورة أو الدول النامية. مع وجوب القاء الضوء على العوامل المتحكمة في درجة التأثير ونوعيته: تأثير سلبي أو تأثير إيجابي. لنستنتج أن نجاح عملية التنشئة الاجتماعية في ظل تكنولوجيا الاعلام والاتصال، يتطلب النجاح في الرهانات والتحديات المفرودة على المجتمع ككل. Abstract: We will address in this article the impact of information and communication technology on socialisation. To achieve this goal, we presented the basic concepts of both socialization and information and communication technology, we analysed the phenomenon studied. Finally, let us ascertain the imperative of the changes applied to the process under these technologies. We conclude that the success of socialization under information and communication technology requires success in the bets and challenges imposed on society as a whole.Item حوكمة البيانات في مؤسسات التعليم العالي: الآليات، االاستراتيجيات، العوائق(المجلة المغاربية للمخطوطات-مخبر المخطوطات-كلية العلوم الانسانية جامعة الجائر2 أبو القاسم سعد الله, 2024-06-03) بن عيدة فوزية; بحوصي رقيةAbstract: This study aims at shedding some light on the importance and use of data in higher education as well as the strategies and mechanism in its governance and how to secure and protect data especial of personal use, data are considered as the new oil and vital resource that engineer a different constitutions for decision making, the topic of data governance is of great importance among researchers which has huge consideration with respect to the sector of higher education that produces wide range of forms and great amount of data and information which is behind that driving force for the application of data governance. To face the obstacles in applying the governance, with particular emphasize on its impact on different institutions in general and the institution of higher education in particular to find strategies, mechanism and new models in order to measure and evaluate its performance. الملخص: تهدف الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى التحكم في البيانات، واستخدامها مع تسليط الضوء على أهمية البيانات في قطاع التعليم العالي، و كذا الآليات و الإستراتيجيات المعتمدة في حوكمتها؛ بالإضافة إلى توفير الأمن و الحماية للبيانات خاصة الشخصية منها؛ بإعتبار البيانات النفط الجديد للعديد من المؤسسات و موردا أساسيا في إتخاذ القرارات، و تكمن أهمية موضوع حوكمة البيانات كونه من المواضيع الحديثة التي أثارت إهتمام العديد من الباحثين، و إكتتست أهمية بالغة في العديد من القطاعات خاصة قطاع التعليم العالي هذا الأخير الذي يشهد إنتاجا كبيرا للبيانات و المعلومات على إختلاف مصادرها و انواعها و أحجامها ما إستدعى من المؤسسات تطبيق وتنفيذ حوكمة البيانات. و لمواجهة عوائق تطبيق حوكمة البيانات، يجب على المؤسسات عامة و مؤسسات التعليم العالي خاصة اتباع إستراتيجيات، و وضع آليات واضحة لقياس و تقييم الأداء، و إنتهاج نماذج نضج لحوكمة البيانات.Item منهج التغيير عند مالك بن نبي(المجلة المغاربية للمخطوطات-مخبر المخطوطات-كلية العلوم الانسانية جامعة الجائر2 أبو القاسم سعد الله, 2024-06-03) بوثلجة فازيةAbstract: In our study, we touched on the most important basic methods that the thinker Malik Bennabi talked about, through which we can make a change in society, to accelerate the change process after the failure of the two solutions that entered our country, the liberal democratic system, and the socialist system. During the Meccan period, Lady Khadijah defended the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) with her soul and wealth, providing him solace from the harm inflicted by disbelievers. Similarly, Muslim women have been generous with their wealth, giving out endowments for students of knowledge, the sick, pilgrims to the Holy Kaaba, and schools. By examining biographies and historical accounts, we find numerous endowments made by women. Endowments were not limited to establishing institutions alone but also extended to endowing books for public libraries. Libraries spread across all corners of the Islamic world. One of the libraries to which women endowed is Al-Azhar Library, which originated through corridors. Among the most important corridors in the esteemed Al-Azhar was Al Sa'idah Corridor. This research will delve into the endowments made by women in this corridor, documenting them statistically, identifying the books and arts endowed to this corridor, as well as exploring the motives behind these endowments. It will compile a dictionary of women endowers and attempt to uncover the circumstances surrounding this type of endowment, such as reasons, conditions, and other contexts evident through the endowment records. The researcher has arrived at several conclusions, the most significant of which is that women's endowments tend to be simple and, in most cases, not written by women themselves, due to the limited education of women in this era الملخص: إن للمرأة المسلمة دورا بارزا في خدمة الدين الإسلامي، فمنذ بداية الدعوة الإسلامية والمرأة تساند الرجل، والنماذج لذلك كثيرة، ففي المرحلة المكية دافعت السيدة خديجة عن النبي (ﷺ) بروحها ومالها، وكانت السلوى له من إيذاء الكفار له. كذلك جادت المرأة المُسلمة بمالها؛ فأوقفت الأوقاف على طلبة العلم والمرضى، وحُجاج بيت الله الحرام، والمدارس، وبالنظر إلى كُتب السير والتواريخ، سنجد الكثير من الواقفات. ولم يقتصر الوقف على إنشاء المنشآت فقط؛ بل امتد لوقف الكُتب على المكتبات العامة، وقد انتشرت المكتبات في كل ربوع الدولة الإسلامية. ومن المكتبات التي أوقفت عليها النساء المكتبة الأزهرية، وقد نشأت هذه المكتبة من خلال الأروقة، ومن أهم الأروقة التي كانت موجودة في الأزهر الشريف رواق الصعايدة. وهذا البحث سيتعرض لوقفيات النساء في هذا الرواق، وسيرصدها رصدا إحصائيا، مع معرفة الكُتب والفنون التي أوقفوها على هذا الرواق، كذلك استكشاف دوافع الواقفات. وإعداد معجم للواقفات، ومحاولة أيضا رصد ملابسات هذا النوع من الوقفيات، كالأسباب والشروط والسياقات الأخرى التي تظهر من خلال قراءة الوقفية. وتوصل الباحث في الى عدد من النتائج من أهمها أن: وقفيات النساء تكاد تكون بسيطة، وفي الأغلب لم تكتبها المرأة بنفسها، لقلة تعليم المرأة في هذا العصر.Item مشاهدات عن منطقة الصحراء الجزائرية من خلال رحلة أبي عبد الله الحضيكي(المجلة المغاربية للمخطوطات-مخبر المخطوطات-كلية العلوم الانسانية جامعة الجائر2 أبو القاسم سعد الله, 2024-06-24) عطاء الله حسيبة; بن عدي محمدتهدف هذه الورقة البحثية للكشف عن قيمة ونوعية المادة التاريخية التي توفرها الرّحلات الحجازية ومن أبرزها رحلة الشيخ الحضيكي خلال القرن 18م، حيث قدمت لنا إفادات تاريخية وجغرافية عن منطقة الصحراء الجزائرية، من خلال الوصف المتسلسل للمواقع والبقاع. تمثلت نتائج هذه الدراسة في استجلاء قيمة الرحلة التي قام بها هذا الرحالة عبر الصحراء الجزائرية لأداء مناسك الحج من جهة، ومن جهة أخرى أصبحت رحلته مصدر من المصادر التي يعتمد عليها في تأريخ للفترة الحديثة. This research paper aims to reveal the value and quality of the historical material provided by the Hejaz trips, most notably the journey of Sheikh Al-Hudhaiki during the 18th century AD, where it provided us with historical and geographical statements about the Algerian Sahara region, through a sequential description of the sites and places. The results of this study were to clarify the value of the journey undertaken by this traveler across the Algerian Sahara, and on the other hand, his journey became a reliable source in the historiography of the modern period.
