    bstract: The concept of death is one of the most complex and controversial concepts ,as it has been covered by many philosophical, religious and medical studies; Not to mention that he raised many biological, jurisprudential and legal problems, such as the issue of organ transplantation and euthanasia and their relationship to defining the concept of death, for example; since before the 1950 the concept of death meant that the respiratory system and the heart stopped working , but then and with the د.مجيلة بسو 2 development of modern devices it was determined bay brain death, this raises many questions regarding the ethical, legal and jurisprudential implications of this new concept; Our main purpose in this research is to extrapolate the evolution of the concept of death and to raise the most important problems that accompanied this development at the level of medicine, philosophy and religion.
