Educational Problems Printout Summary: Apedagogical printout directed at third-year bachelor's degree students specializing in educational psychology, scheduled for the sixth semester. It introduces the student to the most significant educational problems that learners suffer from, which hinder their learning and act as obstacles and barriers to receiving various types of knowledge. These problems may vary from one learner to another, such as psychological, behavioral, educational, and academic problems. The objective of studying the educational problems scale is to identify the educational problem in itself, understand its concept, causes, manifestations, characteristics, diagnosis, and how to overcome it.Item An Investigation into ESP Teachers’ and Students’ Needs and Difficulties at Medea University, Algeria(Afkar wa Affak, 2022-06-11) ARAR, samiraEnglish for Specific Purposes (ESP) is an approach to language that aims to meet the needs and demands of learners. Therefore, needs analysis is very useful for identifying learners’ key requirements and determine the areas in which they are lacking skills. This study investigates Algerian ESP teachers’ and students’ needs and difficulties in the Sciences and Technology Departments at Yahia Fares University, Medea. It targets teachers’ perceptions about their teaching approaches, the main problems encountered in the ESP course, and the strategies implemented to help ESP students. To this end, a focus group interview was used to meet the research aims. The findings of this research revealed insightful information on teachers' and students’ needs as well as their encountered challenges, as an input to syllabus and materials planning, as well as to lesson planning and classroom instruction practice. The study demonstrated the importance of teacher training and the understanding of students’ needs in ESP syllabus at university level in AlgeriaItem UNDERSTANDING SECONDARY SCHOOL LEARNERS’ DIFFICULTIES IN EFL WRITING(Understanding Secondary School Learners’ Difficulties in Writing, 2023-05-14) ARAR, SamiraThis research work investigates real causes underlying Algerian secondary school learners' difficulties in EFL writing. To this end, data were gathered in two different secondary schools in Blida and Tlemcen cities, within a mixed method approach and using two questionnaires and an interview. The responses of the informants, 150 third year learners, 50 teachers, and 03 inspectors, were analysed quantitatively and qualitatively and served to shed light on learners‟ linguistic, cultural, and affective challenges in writing. The findings are hoped to contribute in understanding the problem and to serve as groundwork for alternative remedies
