النشاط الدبلوماسي الفرنسي بعُمان وجدة خلال القرنين 19و20م

Abstract

يتطرق البحث لموضوع النشاط الدبلوماسي الفرنسي بالخليج العربي، وبالأخص بعُمان والحجاز ، أين أنشأت فرنسا قنصلية لها بكل من مسقط وجدة من أجل الاستحواذ على مناطق النفوذ التجاري بالخليج العربي، والساحل الغربي من البحر الاحمر ،فإنشاء فرنسا لهذه القنصليات يدخل أيضا ضمن اطار سياسة مواصلة عمل شركة الهند الشرقية الفرنسية بهذه المنطقة، كما سمح لها هذا التمثيل الدبلوماسي أيضا من ربط علاقة مع الحكام المحليين الذي سهّل لها التدخل في شؤونهم الداخلية، وسمح لهم أيضا من منافسة بريطانيا تجاريا بالمنطقة. كما تضمن البحث أيضا لأسماء القناصل الفرنسيين الذين تداولوا على قنصلية فرنسا بمسقط وجدة، مع ذكر نشاطات البعض منهم بكل من مسقط، وجدة The research focuses on the subject of French diplomatic activity in the Arabian Gulf, and the western coast of the Red Sea, in particular Oman and the Hejaz, where France has established a consulate in Muscat and Jeddah in order to acquire areas commercial influence in this region. The creation of these consulates by France is also part of the policy of continuing the action of the French East India Company in this region. These two consulates also allowed him to establish a relationship with the local rulers, which made it easier for him to interfere in their internal affairs, and also allowed them to compete commercially with Great Britain in this region. The research also focused on the names of the French consuls who exercised activities at the consulate of Muscat and Jeddah, mentioning the activities of some of them in these two consulates.
