Minting Dinars During the Reign of Sultan Malikshah of the Seljuk in the Cities of Isfahan and Hamadan 465-485 AH/1072-1092AD)) (An Analytical Historical Study) Abstract The Seljuk dinar was one of the coins that the Seljuks dealt with in their daily dealings alongside other coins of silver and copper, but the majority was gold. As the Seljuk sultans minted the gold dinar since they came to power and registered their names and surnames on them alongside the titles of the Abbasid caliphs and cared about them and their enemy is the second emblem after the sermon for the sovereignty of the Seljuk state. They minted many of them in the different cities of the regions that they controlled, with different weights and countries, as well as mint some of them on different occasions. And these dinars indicated the political, religious, social, and economic orientation of the Seljuks through what was written on them of writings, symbols, letters, words and inscriptions, and they were considered as an important media used by the state at home and abroad to spread its authority over some regions of the Islamic world. Our research, entitled: (“Minting dinars during the reign of Sultan Malikshah of the Seljuk in the cities of Isfahan and Hamadan 465-485 AH/1072-1092AD -an analytical historical study-))”, examined these types of Seljuk dinars in terms of what was written on them, writings and phrases, and analyzed and linked their writings to the historical events.
