ترجمة أسلوب التهكم عند جورج أورويل (كتاب 1984) نموذجا- ترجمة أنور الشامي والحارث النبهان- دراسة تحليلية مقارنة

Abstract

تهدف هذه الد ا رسة إلى تحليل ترجمة أسلوب التهكّم في رواية 1984 لجورج أورويل في ترجمتي أنور الشامي والحارث النبهان، ضمن د ا رسة تحليلية مقارنة تكشف مدى قدرة كلٍّّ منهما على نقل روح التهكّم ودلالاته مع الحفاظ على الأثر المكافئ في اللغة العربية. وقد بيّنت النتائج أن ترجمة التهكّم لا تخضع لنظرية أو است ا رتيجية واحدة، بل تتنوّع تبعًا للسياق والغرض، مع اعتماد نظريات بارزة نذكر منها: النظرية التأويلية ونظرية الهدف. كما أظهرت الد ا رسة أن تحقيق الأثر المكافئ يرتبط بثقافة المتلقي وكفاءة المترجم والفروق الثقافية بين اللغتين. ولاحظت أنّ القارئ الخبير يفضّل الترجمة التأويلية التي تحافظ على روح النص، بينما يميل القارئ غير الخبير إلى الترجمة الحرفية. وخلصت إلى أن ترجمة أسلوب التهكّم تتطلّب قد اً ر عاليًا من الإبداع اللغوي والثقافي، وأن الترجمة الأدبية الصحيحة والمبدعة هي الأقدر على نقل الأثر الجمالي والدلالي إلى القارئ في اللغة الهدف Abstract This study aims to analyze the translation of irony in George Orwell’s 1984 in the Arabic translations by Anwar Al-Shami and Al-Harith Al-Nabhan, within a comparative analytical framework that examines the extent to which each translator conveys the spirit of irony and its connotations while preserving an equivalent effect in the target language. The findings revealed that translating irony does not adhere to a single strategy but varies according to context and purpose, drawing on theories such as the interpretive theory and Skopos theory. Achieving an equivalent effect depends on the target reader’s cultural background, the translator’s competence, and the cultural differences between source and target languages. Expert readers tend to favor interpretive translations that capture the text’s spirit, while non-experts often prefer literal renderings. The study concluded that translating irony demands high linguistic and cultural creativity, and that accurate, inventive literary translation is the most effective means of transmitting the aesthetic and semantic impact to the target-language reader.
