Abstract

عاشت إمارات الساحل المتصالح حركة فكرية نشطة في العقد الخامس من القرن العشرين تزامنا مع انتشار مجموعة من الاتجاهات الفكرية والمصطلحات السياسية القومية التي أثرت في توجهاتهم الفكرية وميولهم السياسية. وقد سعوا للتعبير عنها بشتى الوسائل المتاحة لديهم حينذاك ،أبرزها كتابة القصائد الشعرية التي كانت تعبر عن توجهاتهم الفكرية وقناعاتهم السياسية وآمالهم المستقبلية. فبرز من بينهم شاعر تأثر بمبادئ الثورات ونادى بقيام وحدة كبرى بين الأقطار العربية، وعايش قيام الوحدة العربية بين مصر وسوريا وما تمخض عنها من الإعلان عن قيام الجمهورية العربية المتحدة عام 1958م وانتخاب الرئيس جمال عبدالناصر رئيسا لها، وهو الشاعر سالم بن علي العويس الشامسي(1887-1959) الذي انبرى لتوثيق ورصد كل ما كان يقرأه من أخبار عنها أو تصله من معلومات بشأنها، فقام بتوثيقها لأبناء الإمارات بأسلوب شعري يستطيعون من خلاله رسم صورة متكاملة عما كان يجري حولهم في أكبر الأقطار العربية، ويشاركونه الحلم بقيام الوحدة العربية الكبرى. The Trucial States experienced an active intellectual movement in the fifth decade of the twentieth century coinciding with the spread of a group of intellectual trends and national political terminology. They sought to express it with the means available to them at the time, the most obvious of which was writing poems that express their intellectual orientations, political convictions, and future hopes. Among them stood out a poet who was affected by the principles of the revolutions and called for the establishment of great unity among the Arab countries, and lived the establishment of Arab unity between Egypt and Syria and the resulting announcement of the establishment of the United Arab Republic in 1958 AD and the election of President Jamal Abdel Nasser as its president. He is the poet Salem bin Ali Al Owais Al Shamsi (1887-1959), who documented and monitored all the news he was reading about it or receiving information about it. They share the dream of a great Arab unity
