dc.description.abstractThis article addresses the history of the city of Algeria in the Ottoman era and the destiny that came to it after it was subjected to French occupation, which destroyed its structure and enslaved its people. We also address its geographical space and features that have been demolished as well as the colonial planning that has transformed the Islamic city into a European city.
