هيئة فرســان التيــوتـــون دورها العسكري وأثرها الحضاري في منطقة حوض البلطيق من القرن 13 إلى القرن 15 الميلاديين.

Abstract

تسلط هذه الرسالة الضوء على نشاط هيئة فرسان التيوتون في فضاء حوض البلطيق، حيث تزعّم أعضاؤها وبحماس فياض حركة صليبية وراء نهر الأودر ضدّ الجيوب الوثنية الليفونية، البروسية والليتوانية التي شكلت أراضيها امتدادا طبيعيا ومجالا حيويا لمنطقة جرمانيا. وفي غضون عقود نجح تنظيم الفرسان التيوتون في تأسيس دولة مترامية الأطراف اصطلح عليها تاريخيا باسم "Ordenstaat" التي شكّلت تهديدا لجيرانها، ولا شك أنّ تهديد دولة التنظيم دفع بدوقية ليتوانيا الكبرى ومملكة بولندا إلى تشكيل حلف عسكري قوي أجبر هؤلاء الفرسان على المواجهة في عدّة جبهات أسفرت عن تحوّل ميزان الصّراع لصالح الحلف فكان إيذانا بوقوب غسق التنظيم ونهايته. ومن باب الإنصاف، ينبغي الاعتراف بالدّور الحضاري الملموس الذي اقترن بحركة توسّع هؤلاء، حيث نجح تنظيم التيوتون في الانتقال بالقبائل البلطية من ظلمات الجهل والفوضى والانحطاط إلى أنوار المدنيّة والتّحضّر. This dissertation aim to sheds light on the activity of the Teutonic Knights in the Baltic region, Where its members led with overflowing enthusiasm a crusade movement beyond the Oder River against the pagan enclaves of Prussians, Livonians, and Lithuanians which their lands formed a natural extension and a vital area for Germania region. And Within decades, the organization of the Teutonic Knights succeeded in establishing a sprawling state that was historically called "Ordenstaat", which posed a threat to its neighbors. There is no doubt that the threat of the organization's state prompted the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland to form a strong military alliance that forced these knights to confront on several fronts that resulted in a shift in the balance of the conflict in favor of the alliance, it was a sign of the imminence of the twilight of the organization and its end. In fairness, it should be recognized the tangible civilizing role that was associated with the expansion movement of these German knights in the Baltic region by as the Teutonic knights succeeded in moving the Balts from the darkness of ignorance, the chaos and decadence to the lights of civilization.
