المثقفون العرب والدولة العثمانية بين التأييد والمعارضة محمّد عبده، شكيب أرسلان، الأمير خالد وعبد الرحمان الكواكبي أنموذجا.

Abstract

تعالج هذه الدراسة مواقف بعضا من المثقفين العرب اتجاه السياسة العثمانية خلال فترة حكم السلطان عبد الحميد الثاني وخلافهم مع الأتراك حول ضرورة قيام إصلاحات وتطبيق اللّامركزية في الحكم وكيف تحولت مواقف جمعية الاتحاد والترقي ضد العرب بعد اسقاط عبد الحميد، مما أدى الى بروز معارضة أدّت الى المطالبة بالانفصال عن الدولة العثمانية. نتعرض الى هذه المواقف من خلال استعراض وجهات نظر هؤلاء المثقفون ودعاة الإصلاح وأسباب تأييد بعضهم للسلطان عبد الحميد وأسباب معارضة البعض الآخر للحكم التركي في البلاد العربية وكيف أدّت هذه السياسة وهذه المعارضة الى سقوط الدولة العثمانية. وما إذا كانت المعارضة مخطئة في موقفها ضد الحكم التركي أو كانت محقّة. من بين هؤلاء المثقفون نذكر، محمد عبده، شكيب أرسلان، الأمير خالد –عبد الرحمان الكواكبي.

This study deals with the attitudes of some Arab intellectuals towards the Ottoman policy during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II, and their disagreement with the Turks about the necessity of reform and the application of decentralization in governance, And how the positions of the Union and Progress Society turned against the Arabs after the overthrow of Abdul Hamid which led to the emergence of an opposition that led to the demand for secession from the Ottoman Empire, We are exposed to these positions by reviewing the views of these intellectuals and advocates of reform and the reasons why some of them supported Sultan Abdul Hamid and the reasons for others' opposition to Turkish rule in the Arab countries, and how this policy and this opposition led to the fall of the Ottoman Empire. And whether the opposition is wrong in its stance against the Turkish rule, or if it is right
