الرواية العرفانية جنس أدبي مستحدث رائده عبد الإله بن عرفة، تعتبر الشخصية فيه المكون الرئيس من أجل ذلك تمحورت الدراسة حول بنيتها وفق مقاربة فيليب هامون. وقد قام الروائي بن عرفة بتقديم أبعاد شخصياته الروائية في قوالب فنية بالتدريج على شكل دفعات تتناسب مع المنطق و أحداث الروايات وما يمليه جوها العام، فتتبعنا في البداية أصنافها ثم انتقلنا إلى مدلولها (الشخصية)، و انهينا العمل بالجانب الثاني للشخصية والمتمثل في دالها وذلك في كل المتون The Irfanism novel is a literary genus developed, pioneering Abd al-Ilah ibn Arafa, in which the character is considered the main component for this.
