حدود التأويل في الترجمة الأدبية "من الإنجليزية إلى العربية روايةThe Prophet لـجبران خليل جبران ترجمة ثروت عكاشة -أنموذجا- دراسة تحليلية نقدية

Abstract

تتناول هذه الدراسة إشكالية التأويل في الترجمة الأدبية، متخذة من ترجمة الدكتور ثروت عكاشة لرواية "النبي" نموذجاً تطبيقياً، وتهدف الرسالة إلى الكشف عن حدود التأويل وضوابطه في نقل النصوص الأدبية بين اللغات والثقافات. إذ تعتمد الدراسة على المنهج التحليلي النقدي، من خلال مقارنة النص الأصلي بنص عكاشة المترجم، وتحليل الاستراتيجيات التأويلية المعتمدة. لقد أثبتت النتائج أن التأويل ضرورة حتمية في الترجمة الأدبية بسبب الطبيعة الرمزية للنصوص الأدبية، وأن ترجمة عكاشة نجحت في تحقيق توازن دقيق بين الالتزام بالأصل والإبداع في النقل، كما حددت الدراسة ضوابط منهجية للتأويل تتمثل في احترام سياق النص وخصائصه الأسلوبية والثقافية. تخلص الدراسة إلى أن التأويل المنضبط يمثل روح الترجمة الأدبية الناجحة، وهو عملية تفاوض مستمرة بين وفاء المترجم وإبداعه.

This study examines the problem of interpretation in literary translation through Dr. Tharwat Okasha's translation of Gibran's "The Prophet." Using a critical analytical method, the research compares the original English text with the Arabic translation to reveal interpretive strategies and their effectiveness. The findings demonstrate that interpretation is essential in literary translation due to the symbolic nature of literary texts that resist literal rendering. Okasha's translation successfully achieves balance between fidelity to the source text and creativity in the target language. The study identifies methodological controls for interpretation, including respect for the text's context, stylistic characteristics, and cultural dimensions, while maintaining professional ethics. The research concludes that disciplined interpretation represents the essence of successful literary translation—a continuous negotiation between faithfulness and creativity, between the author's voice and the translator's voice. Okasha's work proves that conscious interpretation is not translation's enemy but rather a necessary condition for quality and enduring relevance in literary translation.
